I discovered a few days ago, before he would be in town, that Ibram X Kendi would be visiting Colorado for an author talk around Zora Neale Hurston’s novel Barracoon, which he adopted for Young Readers. I was like, “I have to be there!” Tattered Cover Bookstore facilitated a great conversation with Dr. Ibram X. Kendi at Trinity United Methodist Church on February 2.
