Last Call for Submissions for speaking/performing/workshopping at the Decolonizing Adoption 2024 - Adoption & Creative Resistance (November 15-17)
We are week away from the Decolonizing Adoption deadline and the submission box is still OPEN for CREATIVITY!
If you want to organize a panel discussion, manifest a live podcast, share poetry or art, or lead a conversation around the adoption industry, fostercare, social work, healing, or activism, this is the space for you to manifest and dream BIG. While the submissions close a stroke to midnight on Friday, September 6, please do not hesitate to reach out (the earlier the better!) if you have questions or would like to request an extension for your proposal idea. Those of you who are selected for this season’s inaugural program will receive an email confirmation with more details about the program breakdown, recommendations, and schedule.
**Note for Creatives: We are excited to see several submissions that involve films // short documentaries. Due to the volume of video submissions//applications, we those looking to submit their ideas/pitches to focus on other creative spaces (see slide 2 for suggestions). If you are using a video as part of a larger presentation/workshop, those submissions are acceptable.
